Fishing methods will include a mix of floating, wading, or both, depending on the weather and river conditions. Depending on the day’s conditions, we’ll target Rainbow, Brown and Cutthoat trout using streamers, nymphs, and dry flies.

Half & Full Day Wade Trips
If you want to be truly immersed in the Montana riverscape, try our half or full day wading experiences. Traverse the shores of the beautiful Yellowstone, Gallatin, or Maison Rivers at your own pace. Our friendly guides will guide beginners through the entire fishing process, or they can assist seasoned anglers who want the inside scoop about how to land the Trout of your dreams. Waders and boots are available for rent, or bring your own. $550 Half day ; $700 full day. Per guide. Available for 1-2 people
Half & Full Day Private Waters Trips
Every angler dreams of having the entire river to him or herself, and now you can. Our private waters half and full day trips take you behind the scenes to lakes, ponds, and stretches of river where you get all the fish to yourself. Our guides will work with you to understand your specific goals, then we’ll choose the best location to deliver a Montana fishing excursion you won’t forget. $550 Half day ; $700 full day. Per boat. Half & Full Day Gourmet Lunch Trips
This dine-and-fish excursion was created thanks to guest feedback. Our clients loved spending the day on the river, but craved a mid-adventure lunch break to take in the sights and chat with friends or family. Hence, our Gourmet Lunch Trip was born! You’ll enjoy plenty of fishing (half or full day), plus a delicious lunch that recharges you. Chat with us about dietary restrictions in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. $550 Half day ; $700 full day. Per boat. Available for 1-2 people
Includes: Full day of guided fishing, Experienced professional licensed fishing guide, all gear, waders, rods, flies, lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, shuttle service, and transportation to and from the meeting place (within Bozeman city limits)
Does not include: Gratuities, Accommodations, Breakfast, Dinner.
What to Know Before You Go
Weather and river conditions can all affect the direction of a trip. Clients will be contacted to discuss preferences and any last minute changes should the need arise.
Lunch (provided on full day trips only), snacks, fly fishing rods, flies, leaders and tippet, and transportation to the river are all provided by your guide.
A list of suggested items to bring will be included in an email once your trip has been booked.
Wader rental is $25/trip and available upon request or recommendation.
Additional costs will include a Montana fishing license, which can either be bought online prior to the trip at the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks website or at any local fly shop in person.
Any angler 12 years of age or older also needs a Conservation License ($10 non-resident) and an invasive species pass ($15 non-resident) in addition to his/her fishing license.
Anglers 11 years old and younger do not need a fishing license if accompanied by an adult with a valid MT fishing license.
Guide Gratuities. Please consider a tip for your guide at the end of your trip to reflect your appreciation!
Average amount is $120-$140 per trip. Please note that while guide gratuities are completely voluntary, they are also a very important contribution which he/she relies on due to seasonal employment.
