The best time for fly fishing in Chile is from November to April, during the southern hemisphere’s spring and summer. These months offer ideal weather and fishing conditions, ensuring an optimal experience. Most anglers bring their own tackle, especially rods and reels that they’re familiar with. However, if you’re traveling to multiple destinations or prefer not to bring your gear, we can provide everything you need: rods, reels, waders, flies, and other essentials. Some lodges include equipment, while others offer rentals for a nominal fee. 

In Chile and Argentina, we primarily target wild populations of brown trout, rainbow trout, and brook trout. Some destinations also offer fishing for king salmon and silver salmon. In Montana, expect excellent fishing for brown trout, cutthroat trout, and rainbow trout. In Iceland, we fish for sea-run brown trout, Arctic char, and a few Atlantic salmon. In Mongolia, we focus on Taimen, Lenok, Amur trout, and grayling.
